Slam Dunk (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese sports default series made by Techhiko inau. From October 1990 to June 1996, the weekly shone jump for Young Men readers was sorted in Shouisha’s Manga Magazine. The series consists of 31 total tank volume and follows a basketball team in high school from Shohoku High School in Shonan, Japan.

The Story of Slam Dunk Manga
The Story Center, a criminal and thread leader in Hanmachi Sakurgi is notorious for being rejected by girls fifty times. When he meets Haruko Akgi, his life takes a turn, who recognizes his natural athletic ability and encourages him to join the Shohoku Basket team. Originally reluctant – due to lack of sports experience and partly because the last girl who rejected her liked a basketball player – Hanmichi finally discovers her passion for the game. Despite his warm nature and immaturity, he develops as a skilled player, just infection just by playing to impress Haruko to try to win with his peers in the national tournament.
Manga was later adapted to an anime -TV series produced by Toy Animation, which was sent from October 1993 to March 1996. Anime gained widespread popularity, especially in Japan, Europe and various Asian countries. After December 2022, a feature film conversion was called the first sludge Dunk released in Japan.
With 185 million copies in circulation, Slam Sting is one of the best selling mango chains ever. In the recognition of the effect, it won the 40th Shogakukan Manga Prize for Best Shonen Manga in 1994. It is considered one of the largest sports deficiencies, which is credited with popular basketball in Japan in Japan in the 1990s. In 2010 Techhiko Inu was specially recognized Japan Basketball Association for his contributions to the sport’s growth in the country.
